Cancellation &
reimbursement policy
In case Finlandia Ski Marathon is forced to be cancelled due to weather conditions or for any other reason that is out of the orgaziner’s control, the organizer have the right to keep 50% of the admission fee and the remaining 50% is automatically transferred to the next year’s event admission.
The organizer and the registered skier can mutually agree on another method of reimbursement if needed.
In the event of cancellation, a skier or his team/group is not entitled to receive a reimbursement for his/her admission fee. However if the admission is cancelled before 31st of December of the respective year a skier can transfer 50% of the payment to the next year’s admission fee. The skier is required to inform Finlandia-hiihto's office → about the cancellations.
If the course is shortened due to extreme snow conditions or any other cause that the organizer has no control over, the admission fee is not reimbursed nor is the skier entitled to any discounts or any other forms of reimbursement.
Reimbursements
Reimbursements are only valid within the next registration period (from May when the registration opens to February when the event takes place) and will void after if not used.
The organizer does not return money - the reimbursement is given during the registration process within the next registration period.
Reimbursements are personal and can't be transferred to another person.
